Nonlinear Youla Parametrization and Information Constraints for Decentralized Control

We present a generalization of the Youla parametrization for discrete-time nonlinear systems, and give conditions when a constrained set of controllers and a set of Youla parameters correspond to each other. In addition, our approach applies in cases where the signal spaces are not linear spaces, and so covers many discrete and hybrid systems not previously amenable to this approach. We then apply these results to information constraints in decentralized control, giving a generalization of the partial nesting condition.
